Terms of Use
These terms apply to Sanad.dev, Sanad CLI, Sanad VS Code Extension, compatibility API access, Sanad Business, and the separately provisioned OCR beta API. By signing in, registering, topping up balance, creating or receiving an API key, or using Sanad services, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
Sanad access is intended for software engineers and engineering teams. Access is subject to identity checks, payment status, account balance, capacity, provider availability, service limits, abuse controls, and applicable law.
Account and API key security
You are responsible for the Google or Microsoft account you use to sign in and for any Sanad API key issued to you. Keep your API key secret, store it securely, and notify us if you believe it was exposed.
No sharing or resale
Sanad access is personal to the account or assigned business member. You may not share, publish, rent, resell, proxy, pool, or transfer your API key or active session to another person or service.
Usage limits
Usage depends on available personal or company balance. Sanad may enforce business spend policy, model availability, API-key checks, request-rate limits, a five-request per-account concurrency limit, and access-control denials automatically.
OCR beta terms
You represent that you own the PDFs and content you submit, or have all rights, permissions, and lawful authority needed to upload and process them through Sanad. You are responsible for complying with privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, records, and other laws that apply to that content.
You must not use the OCR beta for illegal activity or upload or process content unlawfully. Unless covered by a separate written agreement with Sanad and permitted by applicable law, you also must not use the OCR beta for high-risk decisions or highly sensitive content, including safety-critical, medical, legal, employment, credit, identity-verification, biometric, credential, or similarly regulated uses or data.
OCR output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise unreliable and must be treated as untrusted. Compare important output with the original document, do not make consequential decisions based only on OCR output, and do not execute or follow returned commands, markup, links, formulas, or instructions without separate validation and authorization.
The OCR API is a beta with current limits of 4 MiB per PDF, 500 pages per document, 20 selected pages per synchronous transcription request, 15 selected pages per asynchronous document-answer job, 20 authenticated attempts in a rolling 60-second window per API key, and a non-resetting $200 lifetime modeled inference allowance at the service's pinned beta price. The allowance is not a cap on total service or infrastructure cost. The asynchronous endpoint automatically determines page orientation, but automatic rotation can still be wrong and does not replace review of the source document. Asynchronous answers can be unavailable, delayed, or expire before you retrieve them; the API retrieval period is a 24-hour service window, and storage lifecycle deletion processing may take additional time after its expiration threshold. Limits may change in the published API documentation. The beta availability is not guaranteed and requests may be delayed, rejected, rate-limited, suspended, changed, or discontinued because of safe-processing capacity, maintenance, abuse prevention, or processor availability. No service-level commitment applies unless Sanad agrees to one in writing.
Acceptable use
Use Sanad for legitimate software development and authorized OCR workflows. Do not use it to violate law, infringe rights, attack systems, generate malware, evade platform limits, overload the service, bypass access controls, or misuse provider systems.
Service availability
Sanad access can be delayed, interrupted, rate-limited, unavailable, or changed because of capacity, upstream model behavior, provider configuration, abuse prevention, or maintenance. Model outputs may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by the user.
Suspension and revocation
Sanad may suspend or revoke access, rotate or disable API keys, stop sessions, reject account activity, or remove users or business members when needed for security, abuse prevention, operational reliability, legal compliance, payment failures, or violation of these terms.
Balance and payments
Sanad uses USD account or business balance for paid access. You can top up supported USD amounts through Stripe. Model requests reduce balance based on published customer model pricing shown in the signed-in account or business console. Balance top-ups, usage charges, and invoices are shown in the signed-in account or business console. Sanad may update supported amounts, model pricing, or payment methods with notice in the product.
